Wes graduated from the Environmental Science Technology program at NAIT in 2011.
After spending the first two years of his career conducting Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments with a large nationwide firm and the next five and a half with a local environmental startup, Wes co-founded Vista Environmental Science to embody his values of trust, integrity, and communication within the industry.
Wes holds the following designations:

- Registered Technician in Agrology with the Alberta Institute of Agrology
- Technical Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists
Renee Burns, C.E.T.
Renee graduated from NAIT in 2011 after completing the Environmental Science Technology program.
Quickly after graduation, Renee was immersed in the environmental consulting industry, completing Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments. After working for several Canada-wide and Alberta-based consulting firms, Renee took a brief position as an Environmental Protection Bylaw Officer with the City of Edmonton.
Soon after, Renee was drawn back to the environmental consulting industry, completing Environmental Site Assessments throughout Alberta, B.C and Saskatchewan.
Renee co-founded Vista Environmental Science to pursue her passion for the environment and provide solutions in an ever-changing landscape.
Renee is a Certified Engineering Technologist with The Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.
